PLAYERS OF THE MONTH
Each month, we'll highlight a young girl who is excelling at softball. By raising the profile of these talented players, we hope to inspire others to get involved in the sport and our nonprofit.
Who should we feature next?
To nominate someone for Player of the Month (1) please complete the nomination form to tell us why she is deserving, and (2) email us a photo. Nominees must play in Lorain County to qualify.
OCTOBER 2024
Congratulations to Jadyn Whitehouse! Jadyn is going to JVS for Masonry. She loves the mud and getting dirty. She is great with power tools and loves proving to others that girls are capable of anything.
Jayden not only plays for her local high school team (Oberlin Phoenix), she plays for two other organizations: The Legends and Oberlin Baseball/Softball Federation. She loves the game so much she umpires and coaches for younger kids.

Jadyn is a positive role model and has been helping coach a team of kids from 5 years of age to 8. Where she finds time, I’m not sure… but she also trains with trainers at T3 to to help perfect her game.
